Lydian Care

Career in care

Lydian care provides a variety of roles and opportunities for personal and career development throughout your employment with us – all our senior care workers have developed from within the company starting off as care workers themselves before undertaking necessary training to fulfil the role requirements.

Care workers are asked during supervision and appraisal meetings to inform us of their career aspirations and discussion with their line managers identifies skills and or qualifications required before being suitable to apply for senior roles.

And we are always asking our staff to provide suggestions on the training they would like to receive and the format.

Training

Lydian Care maintains the quality and standard of care within the community and our healthcare team with our bespoke induction training for newly recruited staff as well as refresher and developmental training for our existing staff.

In July 2013 working in collaboration with safe2care Lydian launched the first Lydian care college – giving all our newly recruited home care workers and current staff an online platform to complete or update elements of their training, online access offers us the opportunity for a flexible and an immersive interactive experience.

In February 2020 we relaunched our training as the Lydian Care learning portal and with that a new range of updated immersive courses and a more friendly and responsive user interface.
